EEO System overview

EEO provides a real-time online classroom system and related services.The system mainly consists of two parts, a client product, the product is called ClassIn,Currently, it supports Windows and Mac OS, and other iOS and Android platforms are under intense development.The other is a web-based background management system, access to www.eeo.cn.

ClassIn overview

ClassIn is a client application that needs to be installed.The basic version of ClassIn offers a variety of classes of real-time online classes for 1v6 (1 teacher and up to 6 students with video).

The background management system based on Web, agencies can use this system for course, class management, teachers, students, and access Settings, a class of data collection and display, real-time monitor class management cloud disk, and the management of the courseware.In addition, the eeo.cn supports API docking, allowing the school to develop a management system that is more suitable for its own business logic.

The basic concept

Identity related（Users, teachers, students, audited, institutions, sub-accounts）

  • The EEO system is a strong account system, and everyone needs to have a user account.
  • Users must log in ClassIn or eeo.cn to use various business functions
  • The school needs to add some users as an institution teacher, so that it can be designated as the teacher of the course and class during the course and class section.
  • Students, auditing, etc. Are a kind of identity for the class or section. A user can be a teacher in one class or in another class or class.
  • Any user can be designated as a student in a class or courses.
  • Auditing can only be set for courses.
  • Any user can only have one identity in one class.
  • The agency account is the user who has been authenticated by the school. The school account has the functions of adding an school teacher, creating a course, and specifying a sub-account.
  • The sub-account is used by the school to specify multiple managers. The eeo.cn background support school has multiple sub-accounts and can specify different permissions for each sub-account. The sub-account setting temporarily does not support API Settings.
  • A sub-account with access to the class can invoke the client's form through a Web link to sit in on any class section under the identity.

  • The EEO system is divided into two levels。The first is the course, the second is the class（It is the same as the class section）。
  • An school can create any number of courses
  • Each course can have multiple class，It is recommended that you don't time to overlap.
  • If the school does not have the concept of a course, you can create a class in each course to use the EEO system
  • EEO creates a system internal cloud disk for each user.
  • Cloud disk is a directory (folder) structure that can create multiple directories and files in each directory.The total number of directories is 2, 000, with a maximum of 15.
  • Currently, cloud disk can store courseware types supported by PPT, Word, PDF, audio, video, etc.
  • Courseware in cloud disk is supported in ClassIn classrooms.
  • In class, the teacher can open any system support in his personal cloud disk.
  • Cloud disk, which has been authenticated by the agency, is referred to as cloud disk.
  • The school can specify a directory of cloud disk for the course or class section. The teacher can open any system supported courseware under this directory during this session.

Nouns and relationships in the API

  • User: ClassIn is a strong account system, and all users must log in before they can see the relevant information about the user and the various functions provided by other systems.So all users need an EEO account.
  • Course、class：A course consists multiple several class, which do not support separate class, which means that you must first have a course , then add one or more class to the course.
  • There are properties in the course:
    • Course name：It will appear on the ClassIn interface.To facilitate management, it is recommended that the naming rules of the course name be carefully designed.
    • Course pictures：It will appear on the ClassIn interface.The image does not support modification.
    • Expiration time：Every course has a deadline, and after the deadline, the system will no longer support any increase, deletion, or changes to the course.If this value is not set, the system is automatically set to 90 days after the last class of the course.
    • Curriculum resources：EEO system support school for each curriculum a cloud disk directory (no class for successively set up cloud disk directory), in the process of the course in class, teacher can access and use the cloud disk directory of all the available courseware.If you set up a cloud disk directory for a single class, the instructor will have access only to the cloud disk directory set by the class during the class.
    • Course students：Similar to the course resources, the course students can enter all sections of the course, and the post-creation section also allows the students to enter.
    • Course attend：Logic is equivalent to a course student.It's just that the characters are sitting on the sidelines, and the teacher and the students are completely unable to perceive the existence of the audit.attend can be used for parents and other USES.
  • The properties of the class are：
    • Class name：It will appear on the ClassIn interface.To facilitate management, it is recommended that the naming rules of the class section be carefully designed.
    • Class time and break time：You must set the correct starting and ending time for each class.Teachers can enter the classroom 20 minutes before the class time, students and auditors can enter the classroom 10 minutes in advance.After 20 minutes, the system will force everyone out of the classroom.Class time must be later than the current time.
    • Class teacher：Because the same course may be completed by multiple teachers，so set up the teacher in the class。We won't be able to change our teacher for 20 minutes before class begins.
    • Class student：For some scenarios,here are different students in different class、or adjust class and other scenes，This property can be used if you need to configure access for the students for the class.Class periods are set by class periods.

The main work of the institution in doing API docking

Docking user

  • The school must use the real phone number to create an EEO user account (other forms, please contact with business people)
  • Add the user account of all teachers to the agency teacher (call API or manually complete with eeo.cn)
  • The API manual includes interfaces to create users, change passwords, and modify user information.

Create a course

  • It's in the API manual have course corresponding to add, delete, modify, find the interface
  • To set up student、attend Etc. user for the course （optional）.
  • To set up cloud disk resources for the course（optional）.

Create a class for the specified course

  • It's in the API manual have class corresponding to add, delete, modify, find the interface
  • Set up teachers, students (optional) and other users for class section
  • There are two ways to create a link.
  • One way is to get the necessary information from the underlying API and generate the links on its own.
  • Another way is to call the API directly to get the link.
